The Future of My Online Empire – What’s Next?
It is no secret that I am pretty disappointed with the path my online earnings have taken. The fact that Today dot com decided to screw the people that made them successful is beyond my comprehension. While I am pretty disappointed with eHow lately, I still think that they are a viable place for writers to make money online.
As these two sites were two of the cornerstones to my freelance career, I have had to take a second look at what it will take to reach my goal of making $1,000 per month online.
In order to force myself to take action, I purchased One Week Marketing, from an amazing marketer. My first few campaigns are progressing nicely and I fully expect them to start making decent money relatively soon. If you want to learn a new technique for making extra money, give One Week Marketing a try.
As a way to diversify my freelance writing, I have decided to join InfoBarrel and start publishing a few things there. My first goal will be to get most of the content that I have on eHow over to InfoBarrel with new, and hopefully better, keywords. Once that is complete, whenever I write one article I will publish it on both sites. This should add only a few minutes to each article as the difficult part for me is the research.
Following Norm’s advice, I am going to use Xomba as a way to promote my articles and hopefully drive traffic to them. Promotion was one of my weaknesses but after reading One Week Marketing, I have finally figured out how to get my articles to rank well for the keyword I am after.
Hopefully by combining my article marketing experiment with eHow, InfoBarral and Xomba I will get my earnings back on track.

Thanks for the reminder about Xomba. I have realised that I signed up with them ages ago and then forgot about it as I got distracted by other things. Also have you tried Associated Content? I have just signed up with them and was going to try writing articles on AC with links to my Squidoo lenses to increase traffic while at the same time making a small amount of cash according how many visitors my AC articles attract. Worth a try anyway!
So do you have to rewrite your eHow articles to put them on infobarrel or do you just publish them on eHow and then paste them over on IB? – Great Blog By The Way!!
@ Simplyme – I do not simply cut and paste. I take the article, re-work it, try and hit different keywords and then publish it. It is almost like new content with having to come up with new ideas.
Thanks for stopping by and for the kind comments.
@Mark – I just checked my stats, and it seems like I get more views on Xomba than I do on eHow. I just think there is something wrong with eHow’s tracking system. I am going to give AC a try this weekend. If anyone has an affiliate link for AC, drop it in the comment section here!
My referral link for Associated Content is http://www.associatedcontent.com/join.html?refer=508545
Links on AC are dofollow by the way.
BEst of luck man…
ehow and Xomba do pay.. i have tried them..
but you need to get into them with a great deal..
