Create Your Own Squidoo Lens - Earn Money Writing Articles
Every day I try create something that will eventually add to my passive income streams. My current focus is to make money writing articles using eHow and Today dot com. I try and create at least one article for each site everyday. By the end of 2009, this should hopefully add to my ever-growing streams of income.
By now, I am sure that everyone has heard of Squidoo. I actually tried creating a lens about 6 months ago, but basically got busy and forgot about it. After reading some success stories from people who actively create, and promote, Squidoo lens, I decided to give it a shot.
My first lens is basically a recap of what I am currently doing to make money by writing articles. It is titled - Make Money Writing - How to Write Articles and Make Money. If you get a few minutes, go check it out and let me know what you think. I think the whole creation process took about 5 minutes. I have a few more ideas for additional lens that I will attempt to create this weekend.

Great post, I couldn’t agree more. I first started using Squidoo for SEO purposes only. But over time the income that I have started to generate from unique Squidoo pages has also led me to create them to sand alone and they do not point to any of my main sites. this works really well for niches that are large enough to make some money from, but probably too small to build a whole website for.
Some thing like this Steiner Binoculars lens that I created: http://www.squidoo.com/steinerbinoculars works really well for me. (hope this little bit of self promotion is ok - but just wanted to give an example!)

@ PFI - Thanks my friend. As far as traffic goes, my squidoo lens gets absolutely nothing. That is OK since it was my first attempt.

Checked out your lens and it looks good. What is your opinion when comparing Squidoo, Today.com, eHow, etc? Sounds like a good post?
