So I took my son to see Toy Story 3. I have to admit that it was awesome.

Ten plus years ago my wife and I went on our first date to see Toy Story 2 so it was really something special for me to take my son to see his first movie (in the theater). For the last few weeks I have been getting him pumped up about the movie by watching TS and TS2 on the PS3 and by watching the bonus features that come on the DVDs.

One thing that I never realized was how close the first movie came to never being produced. Apparently, the first couple drafts were so terrible that Disney completely shut down production and basically wrote it off as done for. Fortunately, the guys at Pixar knew they had a good movie IF they could simply write the movie they wanted without any input from Disney.

Needless to say, they really nailed it and these stories have touched the hearts and minds of millions of kids and adults across the world. This never say die attitude has really made me think about my little problem (see The Death of Internet Marketing for more details). Just because my sites are not where I want them to be that does not mean that I cannot get at least some of them cranking out sales before the end of October 2010; does it?

I think not! I simply need to power through it and get as much stuff done as possible.

As you may or may not know, my overall stance on spinning is rather negative. That being said, Dave brings out a few good points in his latest post in which he talks about the best content spinner; I think he is talking more about his wife than any product but whatever!

If I am going to make an impact this year, I have a ton of sites that need content NOW!. As such, he is the ‘new’ plan. I am going to group my sites into packages of similar themes. Then I am going to create a kick ass 1,000+ word post for Site A. Then I am going to spin my own stuff and publish it on Site B. Then I am going to spin that post and publish it on Site C, etc etc… Until all the sites in that niche have received a new post.

Next I am going to just work down my domains in group. Once I have published about 10 to 25 posts per site I am going to start hitting each site with 1 EZA, 1 iB, 1 Squidoo, and 2 postrunner submissions. That should help some of my sites get their rankings back before Halloween.

Let’s face it! We are talking about damage control here. I do not think I can get them all back to their previous spots before my deadline but I may be able to get some of them ranking again. This niche is not that competitive (well it wasn’t before the algo change) so hopefully a little love for each site will get them moving in the right direction again.

What do you guys think?
