Blog Income Report – August 2008
I am pretty excited to be reporting my first Blog Income Report. Every month I really enjoy reading the income reports posted by other bloggers, both large and small. I tend to get inspired and amazed and overwhelmed.
I started this blog on August 16, 2008. In that time, I intended to make a few extra dollars online. My goal was to make $15 (which would be about $1 per day). Here is how I did! It may not be much, but it is a start!
CashCrate: $4.15
This is a simple get-paid-for-surveys site. There are so many things you can participate in that will pay between $0.50 and $1.00. No credit card needed – no fees required at all. Simply sign up here and start making extra money. When you begin, register with a separate NEW email account, as you will get a ton of spam.
Subvert and Profit: $10.00
If you use digg and stumbleupon, you simple cannot pass up this opportunity. The instructions are pretty simple. Sign up here to get started.
Smorty: $6
You know the drill. This is a pay-for-post site that pays you to create posts for certain bloggers. The offers for small blogs like this one tend to be for diet pills and crap like that. If you ever see any of those on here, you will know what they are for!
Opinion Outpost: $9.50
This is my favorite survey site. Too bad I got rejected for the affiliate program. I guess this blog is too young for their tastes.
Adsense: $0.00
Enough said!
Swagbucks: 69 swagbucks
This is a really fun site in which you get the opportunity to win swagbucks by using their search engines. I usually type in the URLs of my favorite blogs since I am going to those sites anyways. By doing so, I can win swagbucks which can then be cashed in for gift cards and other prizes. I am saving all of these swagbucks up to purchase Christmas presents with (which is coming up fast again).
Total revenue comes to $29.65. I spent $7 for my entrecard logo (the only money I will spend on this blog) for a net income of $22.65. Not too shabby for 16 days of blogging.
